Smashwords – 2013 Year in Review

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Smashwords and the work that Mark Coker and team have done to help authors. Although I also love Amazon, I believe that Smashwords offers excellent free services, an exceptionally generous royalty program, and makes the entire publication process about as easy as it can be. I can’t imagine having to work with all the distribution networks on a one by one basis – I’d never have time to write.

I’m not going to go on and on about the great features¬†Smashwords offers. If you’re a writer and haven’t check them out, you really should visit their site. Instead, I’ll share with you an infographic created from the Smashwords 2013 year in review report. You don’t see this kind of disclosure from many companies. I’ll probably continue to turn Mr. Coker’s great surveys into infographics until he sends me a cease and desist order.
