I don’t tend to post cover reveals (not even my own actually), because mostly I prefer to include them with an interview. Unfortunately, with both SK Anthony and me finishing up our respective novels, there was scant time to spare for the interview process.
Don’t, however, let that dissuade you from checking out her Luminaries Series. I’m more an Urban Fantasy movie watcher than book reader, but what I can promise is that Ms. Anthony is a great story-teller…and my brand of crazy.
The strength of her writing begins with her ability to draw the reader into the story and to carry them along wanting to know what happens next. She builds believable characters that the reader can both love and understand. Her characters have superpowers, but it is the manner in which SK reveals their weaknesses and their humanity that has the Urban Fantasy fan cheering for them.
So if you’ve been looking for that new series to read…definitely check out Kinetic and Static.
Genre: Urban Fantasy
Release Date: September 2015

Kevin Pierce is a teleporter, a ladies’ man, and a loyal friend . . . or so he thought.
As a genetically altered Luminary, he helps the government bring down some of the most dangerous criminals. Not very challenging if you have his special abilities. But when a group of rebel Luminaries attacks his Organization the fight for survival begins.
One shattering event after another tests the depth of his relationships, his sanity, and his powers. Emotionally torn, Kevin must choose carefully where his loyalty lies. In the middle of all the unexpected chaos he gets the biggest shock of his life when he’s faced by a betrayal he never saw coming. Angry, injured, and ready to even the score, Kevin goes Static . . .
